RAG completed a successful site migration in the south of England.
The client site was due to be decommissioned and they needed the existing users to be transitioned to a new network.
The network supported a mix of 1200 residential and business clients, with many business clients providing internet services to their own customers; in some cases up to a further 75,000 customers.
The project took six months to successfully complete with RAG providing 12 onsite fibre optic engineers, five days a week. Working within a six hour operating window, all clients were successfully migrated. The onsite team was supported by an emergency on call trouble shooting team to ensure any problems were dealt with promptly to ensure business interruption was kept to an absolute minimum.
